AR Accountant - Wind

Eneco Wind Belgium SA (EWB) is part of the Eneco group since 2008. Eneco is a leading player in the renewable energies sector and aims to be carbon-free in 2035.  We develop, build and operate wind farms offshore and onshore.

As an Accountant, you'll dive into the dynamic world of numbers, helping us keep our financials in excellent shape.
You will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of 18 entities
• Being assigned to one of the designated accounting processes
• Participating in regular rotations with other accountants to ensure everyone gains practical experience across various functions

 

 

 

• Processing and issuing customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Managing intercompany operations

• Following up on outstanding receivables and handling customer payment reminders

• Reconciling AR accounts and resolving discrepancies

• Supporting month‑end closing activities related to AR

• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes

• Assisting with ad‑hoc tasks to support the accounting team during busy periods

• You have relevant experience in a similar role (1–2 years)

• You are accurate and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism

• You have strong communication skills and enjoy sharing knowledge and ideas; stepping out of your comfort zone only makes you stronger
