For maintenance and troubleshooting of the Borssele III-IV and V wind turbines the service provider uses a dedicated “Walk to Work” vessel which performs crew changes in Ostend every two weeks. You will work in our office in Ostend, support the WTG asset managers and report to the Borssele operations manager.
Your focus will be on daily operations to ensure maintenance is executed in a safe and efficient manner, resulting in high availability of the wind farms. It includes reviewing new alarms and turbine malfunctions. A good part of the work will be onshore, but it will also include visits and stays on the offshore wind farm. Other tasks during daily operations will include supporting the WTG team in improving the performance and reducing the costs of our operational wind turbines while maintaining an acceptable risk profile.
