Within the Procurement team and in close cooperation with the Head of Procurement to whom you report, you will:

• Translate External and Internal analyses into a Category strategy
• Prepare and implement Sourcing strategy and prepare and execute Contract strategy; incl. management stakeholders
• In coordination with Head of Procurement/ Sr Buyer initiate sourcing initiatives and independently execute tenders (RFI/RFQ/RFP)
• Prepare and execute negotiation strategy
• Contract life cycle monitoring; evaluation; deviation; renewal initiation
• Alignment with (senior) stakeholders within your work area
• Provide input for sourcing plans
• Maintain market and supplier knowledge
• Support Head of Procurement
• Support, coach and motivate the business in order to increase the competencies, skills and know-how at all levels of the company

You will be responsible for:

• The development and the implementation of the sourcing strategy until the execution of the contracts
• The life-cycle management of the contracts, together with the contract-/delivery manager
  

• A Master degree and 2-35 years’ experience, specialist knowledge of purchasing and procurement
• Proficient knowledge of contract and construction law.
• You are aware of procurement good practices.
• Acquainted with FIDIC and contract law related to civil projects.
• Mastering master SAP4/HANA;
• Strong communication skills;
• Being solution minded, you do what it takes to meet deadlines, you are proactive
• Adopting a customer-oriented attitude
• You are a Dutch or French native speaker and have a good command of English on top of Dutch/French
• You have a high level of self-management within a fixed set of tasks; requires planning/disposition of own tasks, various interfaces
• You have guts, a high energy level, a positive attitude and execution power.
